About Me

I’m Rhiannon Kay and I'm so excited you are here!

I’m a massive book nerd. My TBR stack is so huge that I’m 100% confident I will never get through all of them. Part of that problem is when I see a new book that I know I would like to read, I will most likely get it, even with my massive TBR. I’m also an author with 3 published YA fantasy novels and my transition into gothic romantasy is coming this November!

I have always been an academic, to the point where if I could make money to take all the courses I wanted, I would have exponentially more than 5 current degrees! I hold BAs in English—creative writing, journalism, and broadcasting, along with an MFA in screening and an MA in Communication Studies, which I just completed at Gonzaga in December 2025.  

While I was wrapping up my MA program at Gonzaga, an idea popped into my head—a dream I had had years ago and realized I was at the point in my life where I was going to go for it! That dream was to own my own bookstore, alongside being an author. Hence, Sprawling Stories.
